Guilt - a guide, not a verdict
Guilt can be a crushing weight that convinces us we're worthless and hopeless, and cause us to give up. But that's just a lie from the master of lies. The truth is much better...
...the truth is that guilt is just our conscience and God telling us we need to do something. The power of the cross is that if we face up to the source of our guilt (and we always can through the power of the Holy Spirit), there is amazing comfort and peace.
Guilt can't be ignored. But we don't need to listen to its accusations - just respond to its call to action.
