Blessings from Christmas Camp

We enjoyed a smorgasbord of ministry at our Christmas camp, as well as testimonies about healing, salvation and protection and delivery from alcoholism and bullying.

Jesus encouraged us to feast at the table he has prepared for us - all health food, no junk, so take some time out to benefit from the encouraging thoughts recorded for us all.

Pastor Bob compared the city of Corinth with our own society, and encouraged us to live simply, love, and share each other’s burdens;

Pastor David spoke about the kingdom of heaven, and being permanently in God’s presence;

Pastor Joe - hopes and trials, don't be beaten down by life but shift focus and wait quietly on the Lord.

Pastor Michael talked about Lazarus, four days in the grave in Bethany, a place of misery, representative of this world over 4000 years, and the disciples as a cross section of the church;

Chris Brown on overcoming, collecting testimonies to encourage ourselves, and what are today’s challenges?

Pastor Chris - appreciate Psalms, they are an insight into ourselves and the heart of God, the hymn book and prayer book of the children of Israel.

Allan Desmond - Peter was released from prison, but some prisons are mental and Galatians 5 encourages us to ‘stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free’;

Pastor Grant spoke about taking fear out of the equation and going into every situation remembering what Christ says you are;

Ben Chidiac on New Year’s Eve looked forward to the ‘year without fear’ - no matter what, the Lord will bless our steps (Proverbs 3:5), and Pastor John Joske encouraged us to follow the vision - it’s always in front, not behind.
